A graduate of the University of Liverpool, she achieved her BDS with Honours and received several prizes during her studies. Since graduating, she has continued to expand her knowledge and skills through postgraduate courses and ongoing professional development. She has a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry, including Invisalign and clear aligner treatment, as well as facial aesthetics. She enjoys helping patients enhance their smiles and confidence while achieving natural-looking results.She is committed to providing a calm and reassuring experience, taking time to understand each patient’s concerns and goals before developing a personalised treatment plan tailored to their individual needs.

Sara joined the practice in 2025 and qualified as a Dental Therapist in 2014 at The University of Sheffield after working as a Dental Nurse for 5 years.

Sara enjoys the transformation of a mouth to a clean one and likes to empower her patietns to be able to care for their mouths better.

Outside of work Sara likes working out, reading, gaming and planning trips to Japan.

Kim is the heart of Ashby Dental Practice. She has been at the practice since the very first day the Practice opened its doors.

She started as a trainee Dental Nurse, then as a Dental Nurse /receptionist.

In 2006 she gained accreditation as a Practice Manager after studying for a BTEC Professional Diploma in Dental Practice Management.

Away from work, she loves working out and visiting different towns and cities.

Alana commenced her career in 2008 and swiftly advanced, obtaining her Bachelor’s degree, as well as qualifications as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner and Independent Prescriber.

In 2017, she specialised in facial aesthetics, training at leading clinics across the UK and subsequently establishing herself as an expert medical trainer. Alana previously served as a National Trainer, educating medical professionals, including plastic surgeons.

Her unwavering dedication to patient care, combined with her extensive professional knowledge and skills, positions her as a prominent figure in this field.

Sumayyah qualified as a dental nurse in June 2026 and is excited to continue developing her skills and experience within dentistry. Outside of work, Sumayyah enjoys spending time with friends and family, shopping and travelling.

Jane joined the W.R.A.F. where she qualified as a Dental Hygienist in 1973. She originally worked at Ashby Dental practice in 1988, and once again joined the practice in 2019 as a receptionist.

Jane is very smiley and approachable. She radiates positivity and makes everyone feel welcome.

In her spare time, she enjoys walking, reading, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.

Macey has joined Ashby Dental Practice as a trainee Dental Nurse hoping to help and improve people’s lives.

She previously worked in retail and hospitality which improved her skills in communication.

She hopes to pursue her career in dentistry as far as possible over the next few years.

Her hobbies are going to the gym, and walking her dog.

Becky qualified in 1999 and furthered her knowledge with National Certificates in Radiography, Oral Health Education, Fluoride Application and Diploma in Implant Nursing.

She has an outgoing, enthusiastic and  friendly personality and likes to give the best patient care and dental experience.

Outside of work , she enjoys going to the gym, holidays and socialising with family and friends.

Natalie joined the dental practice in 2026 after taking a career break to focus on raising her three children. Prior to this, she earned a degree in Hospitality Business Management and a career within the hospitality industry. Outside of work Natalie loves spending quality time with her family, exploring the countryside on hikes with her dog and showcasing her passion for photography on social media.

Natalie qualified as a dental nurse in 2012 and went on to earn a radiography qualification in 2023. With her caring and approachable nature, she strives to make every patient feel comfortable and at ease during their appointments.

Outside of work, Natalie enjoys spending quality time with her family, camping and visiting new places.

Vicki qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2019, and in 2022 she received additional training in dental implants for dental nurses.

Vicki is very friendly and empathetic, and makes patients feel comfortable and at ease during dental procedures.

Vicki enjoys family days out, long walks with her dog and visiting new places.

Nayeemah is a trainee dental nurse with aspirations of advancing in her field later on in the future.

Her background in childcare has significantly changed her character, instilling patience and empathy.

Outside of her professional life, Nayeemah enjoys travelling, cherishing moments with family and friends, and expressing her creativity through Henna art.

Sam is a qualified Dental Nurse with years of experience in all areas of dentistry.

Sam is very supportive and caring, and she really enjoys helping make each patient’s visit as relaxed, friendly and comfortable as possible.

When she is not at work, she loves going for runs, taking long walks with her dog, and spending time with her family.

Jo joined the Practice in 2006 and qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2008. She is also qualified in Radiography, taking impressions, and applying Fluoride.

Jo is friendly and has a compassionate nature.

Away from work she enjoys walking her Labrador Sadie, going away with her husband in the touring caravan, socialising with friends and family, and loves being a mum to her three sons and a nanny to her granddaughters.
