I have loved being a General Dental Practitioner since graduating in 1986 and have enjoyed teaching dental students at Sheffield Dental Hospital and post graduates at Ashby Dental Practice.
I joined the practice in September 2000 we have built a highly competent team to look after our patients’ dental care. My son Oliver joined the practice in 2015 and I now work 2 days each week. Out of work, I enjoy car track days and cycling, often in Mallorca and mainland Spain. I am an active member of our local Methodist Church.

Dr Emily Osborne B.D.S Ncle
I originally come from Nottingham, but moved to the North East to study Dentistry at Newcastle University. I qualified in 2014 with Merit in Clinical Dentistry, and then moved back to Nottingham to complete my Dental Foundation training. I have worked in Nottingham for a few years now, both in the NHS and privately. I recently completed a Restorative course with Tipton Training, and aim to complete further courses in future to provide patients with the most up-to-date quality treatment.
In my spare time I love to cook, but I also love to go out and enjoy good food and wine. To work off my foodie excesses, I like to go walking as often as I can in the Peak District, as well as occasionally going to the gym.

I began work at this Practice in 1977 when it first opened working first as a Trainee Dental Nurse and then as a Dental Nurse/Receptionist.
In 2006, I gained accreditation as a Practice Manager by studying for a BTEC Professional Diploma in Dental Practice Manager. Many of our patients have become friends over the years and, I have been privileged to have seen many young children grow into adulthood and who are now bringing their own children to our Practice. For me, our venture into Private Dentistry is both challenging and terrifically exciting. It is particularly pleasing to know that we can now devote more time to our patients. Probably the most gratifying part of the change, is to see the large number of patients who have chosen to follow us on this new path into the Private Sector. Away from work, I enjoy Pilates, shopping, travelling, shopping, reading, shopping and oh, did I mention I also like shopping?
